I have seriously considered the issue of NaNoWriMo. In two days, it will be November 1st. The decision is down to the wire. My choice is...
Yes, I am going to attempt NaNoWriMo. I would rather try, not have enough time, and fail than not try, have some time, and fail.
druidspell decided to write a collection of short stories, which is apparently legal as long as they have a common theme. I asked her if I could borrow this idea.
My reasoning is that, if I don't finish, I have more background information on my characters than I have now. I like short stories. If I try to write a novel and fail, I just have part of a novel. Essentially, I'm trying to make failure look useful.
I have a couple ideas for who and what I'm writing about. However, I definitely have contradictory ideas that will cancel those out. What to do?
Anyway, my livejournal where I will blog my progress and post what I've written is
nanowriwhat. My nanowrimo registered username is DuchessPariah. (Yeah, big surprise.)
I'd love the support. Also, I will happily take criticism.
